FOUNDER - CEO

Dr. Jawad Trad, born in Beirut, Lebanon, and raised in Oklahoma, is an invasive cardiologist, inventor, and poet. Driven by a commitment to uplifting the poor and the ill, his work extends beyond medicine, focusing on creating an impact through humanitarian efforts. As the founder of CURA for the World, Dr. Trad has dedicated himself to bringing compassionate individuals to improve the lives of those in need. He believes deeply in the power of collaboration and strives to unite people for the betterment of humanity.

CHIEF MARKETING OFFICER

Riley Stephens is the Vice President - General Manager for Atlas Brands and Co-Founder of Speakeasy Distribution in Kansas. A former ORU baseball scholarship recipient, Riley earned his B.S. with a strong foundation in teamwork and leadership. Deeply committed to giving back, he actively supports The Center for Individuals with Physical Challenges and serves on the board for the Center’s Polo Classic. Riley is passionate about leveraging resources to uplift communities and create pathways out of poverty.

CHIEF NURSING OFFICER

Sergio Juarez is a second generation American. After an enlistment in the Marine Crops and after many tours in Afghanistan, and Iraq, Sergio entered nursing school and has now over 12 years experience in critical care trauma nursing. After challenging career in healthcare (all through the pandemic), Sergio is now focusing his passion to answering the call of those in need around the world, no matter how far, how difficult, Sergio has been an integral part of the development of CURA’s International Medical Missions.

CURA's Telemedicine Medical Liaison

Clint is a Johns Hopkins neurosurgeon and the founder of CURA Telehealth, designed to connect physicians with people in remote areas or those with busy lives. A passionate advocate for the poor, his efforts have impacted lives from Bulgaria to Kenya. Through CURA, Clint aims to integrate goodwill into healthcare worldwide.

His mission is to create a platform where volunteers can share medical expertise with primary care physicians in underserved areas.

DIRECTOR OF CURA’S WATER QUALITY PROGRAMS

Dr. Tarek Trad is a recognized expert in nanotechnology, specializing in its innovative applications in water purification. He earned his Ph.D. from Oklahoma State University and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Virginia Commonwealth University. As a contributing author to Advances in Nanomaterials and Nanostructures and Nanotechnology for Water Treatment and Purification, Dr. Tarek has significantly contributed knowledge in his discipline.
