A Doctor's Dream, A World of Change
Driven by vision, compassion, and hard work to make the world a better place.

CURA provides critical medical care to underserved communities worldwide by partnering with local NGOs in remote areas and rural America. Our focus is on building sustainable health systems, addressing common illnesses, and empowering local healthcare providers with the necessary resources and training.
-
By teaching and implementing permaculture practices, CURA helps communities increase their food sovereignty and build long-term sustainability. Our agricultural initiatives focus on poly-cropping, water conservation, and biomimicry to provide a steady and healthy food supply, reducing reliance on external aid.
-
CURA fosters education and empowerment by supporting programs that promote literacy, vocational training, and advocacy for marginalized groups. By providing opportunities for learning and development, we create pathways for individuals to rise out of poverty and achieve self-sufficiency.
How It All Began...
Dr. Jawad Trad (TJ) was born in Beirut, Lebanon, during the civil war, where he witnessed both the horrors of conflict and the resilience of good people. Having lost his father at age nine, his life’s purpose became clear: to save lives and be a source of hope for others. After moving to the U.S. as a teenager, he earned degrees in biochemistry, biomedical sciences, and invasive cardiology. His true calling emerged during a medical mission to Haiti, followed by work with refugees at the Lebanese-Syrian border—experiences that inspired the founding of CURA for the World.
Driven by a mission to combat poverty and provide care to the forgotten, CURA was created to heal, educate, and spread love in a world too often lacking both.
EST. 2016
Founded in September 2016, CURA has created a sustainable model to lift communities out of poverty through medical aid and permaculture. By partnering with NGOs in remote areas, CURA provides healthcare and food security to communities, enabling them to overcome poverty. Through building medical clinics and teaching sustainable agriculture, we help communities gain access to basic needs, empowering them to invest in education and long-term growth.
CURA has already impacted over 20,000 people in Haiti, Uganda, Peru, DRC, Tanzania, and Burundi, with plans to expand to 30 nations by 2030.
Our mission is to create a world where every community has the opportunity to thrive and eliminate poverty for a better tomorrow.
CURA for the World recognizes there are 41 million uninsured people in the United States, including people who are part of the work force but can not afford medical coverage. This is why we set out to open our first CURA USA clinic in Sapulpa, Oklahoma
